The vulva is the external genital organs of the female. Some problems women can experience with the vulvar area are

- Vulvodynia, also referred to as “feminine pain”
- Lichen Sclerosus
Symptoms may include redness, itching, pain, or cracks in the skin. Treatment depends on the cause.
Dr. Jennifer Aranda specializes in treatment of Lichen Sclerosus, an uncommon skin condition characterized by white, thin, patchy skin. Most common in postmenopausal women, Lichen Sclerosus sometimes improves on its own, but may require treatment by a doctor.
